Western pad with reindeer fur underneath.
Reindeer fur is considered to be one of the best materials to be used as protection between the horse and the saddle.
The fur has outstanding features; it´s dense and each strand of hair is air-filled which creates an insulating and phenomenal pressure-relieving effect. Wonderfully soft against the horse, warming and protecting the horse's skin. Moisture repellent and prevents chafing, making reindeer hides particularly suitable for sensitive/thin-skinned horses, horses with difficult saddle positions and unmuscled horses.
This pad has the highest quality reindeer fur (AAA grade) sewn into the underside of the saddle pad with a channel for the spine. The reindeer fur is dense and durable and has undergone a special tanning process for higher sweat resistance. Bartl does not process "patchwork" (sewn together pieces) as each seam can create pressure. Anatomically shaped pad with room for the withers, made of quilted cotton twill. Rubberised anti-slip pockets on the upper side of the pad with pockets for optional inlays (not included). Reinforced with suede leather at the fender-position.
Length approx. 80-82 cm. Flap height approx. 37-40 cm. Colour on top: brown. The color of the suede leather and the non-slip material may vary.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
- After use: shake off and leave to dry with the fur side facing up in a well-ventilated place
- Use a soft care brush (such as the BARTL care brush) and brush in the direction of the fur
- Vacuum the skin from time to time: use a regular vacuum cleaner but select the lowest setting and work carefully from top to bottom
- Bartl's reindeer skin products can be washed by hand in warm water up to a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius. Use a special detergent for leather (not regular detergent). Do not dry in the sun or over heat sources
- Avoid walking or standing on the skin to prevent the hair from breaking off
